Jia Moderne
The Jia Moderne gallery — located in the Boston Design Center — specialized in unique and exciting items from throughout Asia. Serving interior design professionals as a resource for hand-selected ancient as well as hand crafted contemporary pieces for the residential and corporate space, Jia Moderne offered a collection ranging from paintings to tribal art, accessories to ceramics, flatware to sculpture.
Our mission for Jia Moderne was to create a clean, contemporary identity that would appear in many different contexts, and that would serve to complement the scope of their offerings: “ANCIENT ASIA + CONTEMPORARY LIVING.” The Chinese word “Jia” means “Home.” The founder/owner closed the gallery to accept her “once-in-a-lifetiem dream job.” A job which required her to relocate across the world to Asia. We wish her all the best!
