Forest Hills Cemetery Web Site
Forest Hills Cemetery is one of the oldest and finest garden cemeteries in the United States. Founded in 1848, it is both widely known and locally beloved. Regarded as among the “jewels” of Greater Boston’s legendary “Emerald Necklace” — the Cemetery property is both a burial ground and an historic site (added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004). Burials and services still take place at this revered place. For the new site, we created an informational and inspiring presentation reflecting both the historic significance of the property AND the ongoing use of it.
